rag rugs gallery
The rag rugs are made from recycled old fabrics, ribbons and other memorabilia, creating a personal interior textile. The material is torn or cut into strips providing the weft in the rugs.
Sometimes the fabric comes from clients themselves wishing to preserve certain textiles (e.g. their children’s old clothes). Rugs can also contain furnishing fabric remnants from the very room the rug is intended for (e.g. curtains and pillowcases). Fabrics can be dyed for perfect colour match if required.
The rag rugs are machine washable and robust enough to last a lifetime.
